YOUR HOME SELLING PROCESS

-
ONCE WE RECEIVE YOUR LISTING PAPERWORK, one of our Staging® Consultants will contact you to schedule your Staging® consultation, which will last approximately 1 hour. The Stager® will provide recommendations to help showcase your home’s best features and write customized copy for use in ads, brochures and websites.
- MONDAY or TUESDAY – The Virtual Tour for your property will take place. One of our Virtual Tour Coordinators will contact you to set up an appointment for one of those two days. The Virtual Tour lasts approximately 45 minutes. Unfinished areas, storage areas, and closets will not be photographed. However, these areas should be tidied up before Friday for showings. A key box will be placed on your property for showings that will begin later in the week.
- WEDNESDAY or THURSDAY – The Listing Department will contact you to introduce themselves and obtain showing instructions from you. The Listing Coordinator will be working with you during the entire listing process. They will follow up with all of the agents who have shown your property and will call or e-mail you with feedback by Wednesday.
- THURSDAY – The Northrop Team sign will be posted on your property. Your virtual tour will be uploaded to our website (www.northropteam.com) by Thursday afternoon. Your home will be entered into the MLS System (homesdatabase.com) and we will begin advertising your property in all of our major publications, websites and your showings will start that day. Your listing coordinator will also give you a website and password for the 24 hour feedback website, where you will be able to have access to your home’s feedback 24 hours a day.
- FRIDAY – Your brochures will be delivered Friday evening and a key box will be placed on your property if it has not been already. If you choose to have a Sunday Open House, your signs will go up Friday or Saturday.
- Saturday or Sunday – If you choose to have an Open House, it will occur between 1:00pm – 3:00pm.
